Viewing angle means how far to the left or right you can sit in front of the TV and still see a reasonably good picture. If you are sitting straight in front, you are sitting at Zero degrees and that is the best TV viewing angle. As you go right or left the angle increases to 90 degrees when you reach a point parallel to the TV.
